I've been quilting for more than 20 years. My quilts are simple, usually machine-quilted, always machine-pieced, and far from perfect. My main interest is in juxtaposing pattern and color in beautiful, unusual quilts that I give to the people I love. I grew up in Berkeley, CA, where I learned to quilt and learned about fabric at the wonderful New Pieces quilting shop. Most recently, I spent six years in Austin, TX, where the craft scene is booming. I recently moved to lush, beautiful Charlottesville, VA.
